$200 lesson

Some times I am impressed with my own endurance. I find things like paper cut painful and yet can stand excruciating toothache for weeks before I consult a dentist. I think if I ignore it often enough it will go away. Obviously my wishful thinking. By the time I visit the dentist, my gums were swollen and every bite comes with a sharp pain to the gums like I accidentally stuck a pin in it.

Reluctantly I went to see dentist last week and as expected, it was a cavity pack with food waste. And because my gums were all swollen I had to go back for another check this week. Total cost for patching up my tooth? $238.00. Some said that is enough to buy an air ticket.

Aunt recommended the electric toothbrush with flossing effect. Cost? $40 ++ but it can help clean your teeth like no other. And because all dentists here are sharks in disguise I have decided to invest in the electric toothbrush which I bought at discount $35.00. Must be a sign from God that I have to use electric toothbrush with flossing effect.

The first time, I brush until the foam turn pink before I realize my gums were bleeding. I didn't realize the wobbly thing that it did was actually a sign to stop brushing. I happily brush even after the brush wobbled 3 times. Lucky my brush don't need to resort to electrocuting me just to stop me from brushing. Nevertheless I have mastered the art of using the electric toothbrush, it is just like sending a car to the car wash.

My teeth had never felt whiter.
